- This faucet uses Chicago Faucets' Self Sustaining Power System (SSPS): a water-flow turbine generates its own power every time it runs, so there is no battery or wiring at all.

- No. This model has no mixing valve -- it runs on a single supply of already-tempered water, or delivers whichever single supply it is piped to. Mix hot and cold ahead of the faucet if the application needs a controlled temperature.

- The sensor holds the water on for 10 seconds of continuous hand presence, then the safety auto-timeout closes it automatically. Removing and re-presenting your hands restarts detection.
