Common Questions

How is this faucet powered, and what is the battery life?

This faucet is powered by a direct 120 VAC to 6 VDC hardwire connection -- plan for an electrician to run power to the fixture. There is no battery to replace.

Does it include scald protection?

No. This model has no mixing valve -- it runs on a single supply of already-tempered water, or delivers whichever single supply it is piped to. Mix hot and cold ahead of the faucet if the application needs a controlled temperature.

How long does the water run before it shuts off?

The sensor holds the water on for 10 seconds of continuous hand presence, then the safety auto-timeout closes it automatically. Removing and re-presenting your hands restarts detection.

Is this faucet ADA compliant?

Yes. It meets ADA / ANSI-ICC A117.1 requirements -- hands-free sensor operation means no grasping, pinching or twisting is required to turn the water on.

Is this faucet lead-free?

Yes. It is ECAST® cast-brass construction with total lead content at or below 0.25% by weighted average, meeting NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 low-lead requirements for potable water.
